the lonely summer of eleftheria
My latest film, my most “professional” looking one, and a very big leap forward in my film making process. Shot on my new film making camera with the help of my brother, I tried to shoot a difficult film within a weekend, and the outcome, even though it does not seem like a movie which will premiere in a festival due to its technical mistakes, is a very good effort of which i’m very proud of.
A very personal film
This is a project that started out as a short film to test out my new camera, and eventually became a very personal project with very close friends of mine (and family) as co-workers. A real test of my patience and will towards making films as it was hard to shoot this difficult scenario without rehearsals and the much-needed experience in my crew.
A WONDERFUL JOURNEY WITH FRIENDS
Making this film made me realize how important it is to have good friends and people who are willing to help you with your crazy ideas. During the shooting of this film there were many times were I doubted myself and the film, but my friends and brother who was my excellent assistant director lifted my spirits whenever it was needed.
Currently running for festivals
I really wish I could show you the film, but currently it is running for festivals, and I am not allowed to show it publicly as of yet. I believe that this film will be on YouTube by the end of this year, but we’ll see…..
